Hey guys. Happy Friday. This post was supposed to go live this morning. Annnnnd it’s noonish now. Story of my life these days. When I threw both Lydia and myself into the car this morning (it’s a joke) I told myself come Monday I will not be running late anymore. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Anyways! I just thought it would be fun to share some cool things I came across throughout the week. I am going to call this series my Friday Finds. If you have stumbled upon this one, you are lucky enough to be witnessing the very first post in this fabulous series *wink, wink*. It’s going to be a bit of a catch all post, but I hope you gain some inspiration or learn something new. If not, go ahead and (kindly) tell me to stop finding things on Fridays for ya’ll (insert smiley emoji).

We will start with…..

Ok. I love gardening. And I really like to pretend I am good at it. But check out this adorable plant and play party 100 Layer Cake posted. Its quite possibly the cutest and funnest play date for kiddos I have ever seen. Kind of want to steal this idea someday….

Have to have a DIY post under the fun category right? This is so simple! And cute. A DIY bead trivet from the Burkatron blog.

I am going to try to not share something from The House That Lars Built every Friday, but I am telling you I am a little obsessed with Brittney Jepson’s blog. And THESE paper bag portrait luminaries are an amazing/unique Halloween decor idea. Go ahead, check it out.

If you are looking for inspo, definitely give Forb’s list of top influencers. I had a really good time getting acquainted with those that made the list for Home Decor.

I LOVE this post from Sugar and Charm on fall popsicles because I wouldn’t think to make something that is dubbed a summer treat in the fall. Look at how adorable these are…oh and yummy.

I am also working on a Halloween cocktail post so I have been gathering a ton of inspo from places like Apartment 34, who has a great list of Fall cocktails on their blog.

Was placing an order on Terrain the other day and saw this SUPER SIMPLE cauliflower soup recipe and definitely want to try.

Because we are now in full pumpkin spice mode, here is a smoothie posted by the lovely Camille Styles.

Couple of great sales happening now, and through the weekend. Here are some of my picks from each!

  1. H&M’s up to 60% off throughout the weekend.
  2. Anthropologie currently has an 40% off their sale items.
  3. Mid-Season Sale! Get up to 50% off at ASOS. Valid 10/2-10/10 3 am GMT.

It is definitely possible to rock flower crowns throughout the year. This gorgeous one featured on Green Wedding Shoes is giving off some pretty Halloween vibes.

Also, if you missed the fall tablescape post that recently went live, you can check out the pretty flowers in the centerpiece here.

Check out this how-to on a fall hanging floral arrangement from FTD by Design. Is there anything more whimsical than florals hanging above a table??

I have partnered with Smile Brilliant to offer you guys a giveaway! You can check out the product review here, enter the giveaway and get a $20 coupon code all in that post.

Last but certainly not least, I actually was the winner of a giveaway recently and am patiently awaiting the arrival of my beautiful wide-brimmed hat from Gigi Pip. If you are into hats, you should follow this company.
